Dr. Dayton Kerns earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Penn State before continuing his education at Midwestern University, where he received both his Master of Arts in Biomedical Sciences and his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree.
While in dental school, Dr. Kerns was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society in recognition of his outstanding academic achievement and dedication to excellence. Upon graduation, he also received the Oral Pathology Award for his exceptional performance in the study of oral diseases.
Dr. Kerns is passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered dental care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. He believes that building trust through open communication and patient education is the foundation of excellent dental care, and he strives to ensure every patient feels comfortable, informed, and confident in their treatment. Dr. Kerns enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is committed to continuing his education to provide the most current, evidence-based care.
Outside of the office, Dr. Kerns enjoys spending time with his wife and their two cats, cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles and Penn State Nittany Lions, working on cars, and taking on home improvement projects.
